SAMP announces the appointment of the new CEO, Mr Artemio Affaticati, who has joined the company on June 1, 2008.

Mr Affaticati, 53, has a long experience in the machine tools and logistics industry. He has been Division President of Siemens AG – L&A, Materials Handling Products, in Nuremberg, Germany. Prior to this, Mr Affaticati was Director of Global Research and Development for Mannesmann Dematic AG in Offenbach, Germany.
