Bologna, January 9, 2012 - SAMP Award, Third Act. Feverish preparations are under way for the exhibition of the best works of art competing for the SAMP Award, a painting and photography contest launched by the SAMP Group in co-operation with the Accademia delle Belle Arti (School of Fine Arts) of Bologna aimed at discovering new artistic talents.
On January 19, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. the third edition of the SAMP Award will take place in the enchanting lecture hall of the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Bologna. The award ceremony represents the culmination of a painting and photography competition launched every two years by the SAMP Group, which grants five awards to the most promising Academy students and graduates. Antonio Maccaferri, President of the SAMP Group, underlines: "The Award aims at setting up a bridge between Art and Industry and is able to showcase many young talents, who represent the real future of art". A modern patronage, indeed, which succeeds in reducing the gap between two realities that are apparently far apart, thanks to the creativity of young students.
This year the SAMP Award features a new format: the winning work of art will be reproduced by his/her artist on a very large wall placed at the entrance of the new SAMP plant in Bentivoglio (Bologna).
The exhibition, which is part of the show circuit Arte Fiera OFF of ArteFiera Bologna, international fair of contemporary art, is open from Monday to Saturday from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. until January 31, 2012 in the Accademia delle Belle Arti of Bologna.
