Bentivoglio/Bologna, February 1, 2010 - The SAMP Group has announced today the restructuring of its manufacturing plants at a global level.

The restructuring plan, which is accompanied by significant improvements of the technical support and the distribution structure, ensures that the latest market developments can be faced with a high-quality service for all customers worldwide.

Within the process, SAMP is consolidating its manufacturing units within the new European Product Centre in Bentivoglio/Bologna in Italy. Affected are the manufacturing locations in Ortona/Italy, Ascoli Piceno/Italy, Montecosaro/Italy, Chemnitz/Germany and St. Etienne/France.

This action does not change anything for customers, who can call the usual contacts at our Sales and Service locations worldwide as before. The complete range of products and services remains available through the restructuring phase.
