After about 20 days from previous official information, we are glad to update you on our re-organization programme and we want to confirm our commitment in offering you a top class service in a very short time.

All Samputensili and Sampingranaggi activities will be consolidated into our new plant located in Bentivoglio near Bologna and in this way, we will be able to obtain new synergies which will lead to a higher quality of our products and to a highly efficient production.

We have improved the production lay-out of Sampingranaggi Division by disposing some obsolete machines and replacing them with new generation ones. The transfer time will be reduced to one third, thus improving the On-Time-Delivery even further. The new Sampingranaggi production system is more verticalized and operations such as turning and OD grinding are now concentrated in our new plant.

As for the new production system of Samputensili, new generation machines have already been installed in order to cut down to one third the machining time before heat treatment and many other improvements have been implemented in Samputensili in order to obtain a remarkable reduction in transfer times.
The plant in Bentivoglio will be able to manufacture per week:
- 250 Hobs
- 60 Shaper cutters
- 80 Shaving cutters
- 60 Chamfering/deburring tools
as well as many other types of cutting tools such as masters and large-module hobs.

The technological improvement, together with new web based software platforms, will allow our customers all over the worldto receive quotations for new tools in 3 days.

While we are optimizing our Tools Production Organization in Europe, we are also strengthening our Production Sites in China, Korea, Brasil and USA.

We do realize that unfortunately some production delays are happening during this transitory period, but our staff is trying hard to reduce the impact on your operations to a minimum.

Our efforts are aimed to improve quality, reduce delivery time and develop new and more performing products.
During the recent EMO exhibition, new machines for grinding and hobbing have been shown but development of new products did not stop there, very soon we will be able to
introduce new Samputensili solutions for turning, hobbing and grinding, available on all machine platforms. These new machines will be at the top of worldwide production.

Everybody at SAMP is working to bring into the site of Bentivoglio the most advanced technologies in gear production.
Bentivoglio extends on an area of about 60.000 square meters. It has been build by using the environmental low-impact, advanced technologies and its 18.000 square meters of solar panels are able to generate up to 735 Kwp. In this modern site, our staff can produce the best you may need in Gear Technology.
