We are glad to announce our participation to the CIMT 2019 (April 15 – 20, 2019) in Beijing, China.

Star SU, Samputensili and Star Cutter are excited to invite you to the upcoming CIMT (China International Machine Tool Show), the largest and best-known international machine tool exhibition in China, taking place from 15th to 20th April 2019 at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

Star SU International Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., the joint venture between the Italian company Samputensili and the US enterprise Star Cutter, is looking forward to meeting customers and partners to show the results of its constant strive for precision and excellence.

At the CIMT 2019 in Hall W3, Booth B111, the following products will be on display:

– the Samputensili G 160, an innovative gear grinding machine that has been especially designed and manufactured to fit the requests of the automotive market, which is focusing on high performances and excellent quality. The G 160 features a new concept for the high-productive grinding of gears up to 160 mm diameter with double work spindles, where separate X1 and X2 axes, driven by linear motors, replace the typical rotary turret, enabling a faster workpiece change and a record-breaking chip-to-chip time of less than 2 seconds including meshing, synchronization and simultaneous repositioning of the tool.
This unique, patented machine concept ensures the best production times currently on the market.

– the Star NXT Tool Grinder, a CNC 5-axis machine built with the purpose of meeting and exceeding what the market demands: a versatile tool grinder with less moving parts and a small footprint, a large grinding zone, the ability to run small and large diameter wheels with easily configurable options, a modular design and a competitive price point. The NXT features a 28 kW synchronous spindle @20,000 RPM for the grinding of tools of up to 250 mm diameter. Completely designed and manufactured in the USA, this machine is equipped with NUMROTOplus, the best grinding software worldwide, and has been engineered with the latest in linear and rotary torque motor technology to eliminate backlash, friction effects and drive vibration.
The NXT fuses the best aspects of Star’s current product line into a next generation machine that offers benefits of smaller size, greater diversity, increased capability, flexibility, durability and added value.

– a broad selection of gear cutting tools, as the perfect complement for customers’ most demanding manufacturing tasks. A special highlight among them will be the brand new INNOTools, the new high-performance tool family comprising INNOhob™, INNOshave™ and INNOchamfer™ that help customers meet their present and future manufacturing challenges successfully. Among them, the new INNOhob™, an innovative gear hob that combines a very low surface roughness with a dedicated cutting-edge geometry, ensuring an improvement of the tool life of up to 80% compared with the standard hob technology.

– in addition, a wide variety of gundrills and deep hole drilling solutions, solid carbide drills and reamers, and tungsten carbide blanks and preforms that can be used for cutting tools, dies and wear parts in a variety of specialized applications.

Come and visit us in Hall W3, Booth B111: we are looking forward to meeting you there!
