We are pleased to announce, that Samputensili along with Star-SU will participate in the international trade fair for grinding technology GrindTec in Augsburg, Germany, from 16-19 March 2016. The GrindTec 2016 will present a considerable number of new technical and technological highlights from the grinding and tool grinding technology. 560 companies from all over the world will present their latest developments at this leading international trade fair this year.

Samputensili and Star-SU are looking forward to welcome customers, partners and friends in Hall 4, booth 4004. Above all we invite those interested in our wide product range and our powerful service offers, to convince yourself in person by our recent developments!

We will present at the GrindTec our wide range of gear cutting tools, such as hobs, shaper cutters, shaving cutters and chamfering and deburring tools. As well our comprehensive worldwide services, allowing our customers the competitive manufacturing of gears of all kinds. The new high-performance coating Altensa as well as scudding tools, which have been presented at the EMO 2015 in Milan, can be showcased on our stand and explained.

Please expect these and many more innovations on the GrindTec 2016 in Hall 4, booth 4004.

We are excited to announce a significant milestone in our company’s almost 80-year history.

Starting from January 1, 2016, our Group will have a new organizational structure featuring four market-leading companies, which will operate independently in their relevant sectors:

• Samputensili Machine Tools S.r.l. (Machine Tools for Gears, Shafts, Worms and Rotors);
• Samputensili Cutting Tools S.r.l. (Gear Cutting Tools);
• Sampsistemi S.r.l. (Wire and Cable Manufacturing Machines);
• Sampingranaggi S.r.l. (Gears and Gearboxes)

All companies will be 100% owned by the holding SAMP S.p.A., a company of the Maccaferri Industrial Group, and their headquarters will remain in Bentivoglio, Bologna (Italy). You will continue to rely upon the same trusted and well-known management team, who will now count on enhanced resources. There will be no disruptions in any of our business or operations, therefore resulting in a seamless transition.

One of the main objectives of this new set-up is to become more incisive in the relevant sectors, while sharpening our focus on the specific market requirements of each individual company. Furthermore, each enterprise will benefit from enhanced independence, stronger financial resources and flexibility to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics.

We are fully convinced that this step will allow each company to become stronger and better positioned strategically, while delivering important advantages to our customers, who will benefit from a lean organizational structure, faster response times and in general a more focused approach on addressing their needs.

Please notice that there will be no changes or actions needed for orders placed before December 31, 2015. These will be processed and shipped by SAMP S.p.A.

Starting from January 1, 2016, we kindly ask you to send your orders, requests for quotations and all business correspondence to one of the new companies stated below, depending on the relevant product:
