We are pleased to announce, that Samputensili along with Star-SU will participate in the international trade fair for grinding technology GrindTec in Augsburg, Germany, from 16-19 March 2016. The GrindTec 2016 will present a considerable number of new technical and technological highlights from the grinding and tool grinding technology. 560 companies from all over the world will present their latest developments at this leading international trade fair this year.

We will present at the GrindTec our wide range of gear cutting tools, such as hobs, shaper cutters, shaving cutters and chamfering and deburring tools. As well our comprehensive worldwide services, allowing our customers the competitive manufacturing of gears of all kinds. The new high-performance coating Altensa as well as scudding tools, which have been presented at the EMO 2015 in Milan, can be showcased on our stand and explained.

We are excited to announce a significant milestone in our company’s almost 80-year history.
Starting from January 1, 2016, our Group will have a new organizational structure featuring four market-leading companies, which will operate independently in their relevant sectors:
All companies will be 100% owned by the holding SAMP S.p.A., a company of the Maccaferri Industrial Group, and their headquarters will remain in Bentivoglio, Bologna (Italy). You will continue to rely upon the same trusted and well-known management team, who will now count on enhanced resources. There will be no disruptions in any of our business or operations, therefore resulting in a seamless transition.
One of the main objectives of this new set-up is to become more incisive in the relevant sectors, while sharpening our focus on the specific market requirements of each individual company. Furthermore, each enterprise will benefit from enhanced independence, stronger financial resources and flexibility to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics.
We are fully convinced that this step will allow each company to become stronger and better positioned strategically, while delivering important advantages to our customers, who will benefit from a lean organizational structure, faster response times and in general a more focused approach on addressing their needs.
Please notice that there will be no changes or actions needed for orders placed before December 31, 2015. These will be processed and shipped by SAMP S.p.A.

We are proud to announce that the fruitful partnership between Samputensili and Star Cutter has been further strengthened and extended to the Chinese market.
On March 1, 2015 the new joint-venture Star SU International Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. comes into force and begins operating under the Star SU China brand name. The new company, located in Shanghai, assumes all sales and service-related activities for cutting tools and machine tool technology of both companies. The representative office in Beijing will continue its activity in the same location.
The partnership between Samputensili and Star Cutter has started in 2002 with the creation of the joint-venture Star SU Llc. in Hoffman Estates, IL (USA), the sole go-to-market organization responsible for sales and distribution of machines and tools in the North American market. In 2014 the partnership has been extended to the South American market with the establishment of Star SU do Brasil in Jundiai, Sao Paulo (Brazil).
The expansion of the co-operation to China enhances the presence of both Samputensili and Star Cutter in this strategic market, strengthens their position and allows them to achieve a competitive advantage.
